DDC systems offer a more flexible, customizable and energy efficient system than can be achieved by electric controls alone. DDC systems maintain logs of events (alarms), trending of monitored points such as temperatures, motor current draw and changes to setpoints. Comfort and energy issues can more easily and efficiently be diagnosed and solved using a DDC system. No longer do we have to rewire a complex system to change the sequence of operations - now we simply change the programming!
